    PASOTE Blanco (Mexico, 40% ABV)

    This outstanding bottle conceals a huge secret of tequila, guarded by Mexican Aztec warrior-god Tonatiuh. The secret is revealed only to the Smart Personalities, who fight the mundanity and the greyness of the crowd with their good taste…

    PASOTE recipe was created and is still produced by the charmingly mad genius of tequila, Don Felipe Jorge Camarena. Only 100% blue agave (tequilana weber) is used in the production (obviously!). All of it is grown at the own farm

    The production process of PASOTE is strictly observed and all of this is very important:

    • The agaves are “cooked” in brick ovens, with top AND bottom heating, so that they are affected by the heat evenly;
    • Crushing is done by mechanical means only: tahona; tahona;
    • In fermentation, wild yeast is used: a process, the secret of which is guarded by the 4th generation of the family;

    ,

    • It is distilled TWO times in copper stills;
    • Only the pure water of the on-premise 130-meter-deep well is used (60%), and – oh, ye gods! – the collected real RAIN water (40%)
    • NO additives are used WHATSOEVER (no sugar, no glycerin, no caramel colorants – NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH.): 100% natural, guaranteed!

    The distillery is based in a small town with a jolly name of Jesus Mary, in Jalisco, southern hights (Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Los Altos Sur, Mexico) (Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Los Altos Sur, Mexico)

    This here is one DIFFERENT tequila – for THE DIFFERENTS…

    The key to the aroma: absolutely unique, sweetish-fresh minerality and green foliage – as if the luscious nature is reviving after the rain. A philosophical smell of pure open air, which intrigues with exceptionally nuanced undertones of cooked agave, roasted black pepper, crumble pie and fresh citrus

    The key to the taste: wonderfully crystal and light sense of purity – as if you are drinking the liquid summer morning’s light after the refreshing rain. In the beginning: gently pinching citrus, maybe a hint of fresh jalapeño and cuddly viscous sweetness; afterwards: a lot of cooked agave, a touch of roasted pepper, maybe even a hint of nano-smoke?..

    All finishes with a cosy warmth and those refreshing minerals of rain…

    (After all, dreams do begin with nonsense, don’t they?)

    This tequila is in a league of its own: an epitome of good taste and elementary elegance amongst tequilas – for the ones in the know, for the passionate ones, for the keepers of secrets, for the propagators of good taste and other smart ones…

    PASOTE Reposado (Mexico, 40% ABV)

    The secret of the contents of this bottle is guarded by Aztec Warrior-Leopard. These fearless fighters were the Aztecs’ elite special forces…

    This tequila was “having a rest” in American oak for 6 months

    The key to the aroma: white fruits and essential oils of citrus, a whiff of vanilla, a touch of roasted black peppercorns

    The key to the taste: even though the first fiddle is played by the roasted agave here, a cuddly sweetness of vanilla can be felt throughout, while the oak is only a discreet witness to that original minerality of PASOTE: a wet stone after the rain. Seriously!

    This tequila is mostly designated for the purposeful time – in the middle of the buzz of the most wonderful of friends, the best days of our lives enshrining

    PASOTE Añejo (Mexico, 40% ABV)

    The secret of the contents of this bottle is guarded by the Aztec Warrior-Eagle. These were the most respected and lethal fighters, the ranks of which were formed exclusively from the bravest and exceptionally distinguished members of high society...

    This tequila is matured in American oak for 20 months

    The key to the aroma: again, a lot of roasted agave, with a pleasant and modest sweetness of vanilla. A tiny whiff of exotic spices can be detected: is this a hint of cinnamon perhaps?

    The key to the taste: the viscosity of cooked agave turns into the velvet of fried oranges and bananas (?). A very natural, quiet and light colour tone (and not a primary colour at all!) of the liquid is attained from the barrel, along with that gentle coziness of the oak. The aftertaste is pleasantly roasted-pepperish, calm and long

    This is a tequila mostly reserved for the slow passage of time, composition of mind, the thinking-over of plans to achieve, dreaming big and the spells for success…
