The Philosophy of Bouquet: the elegant passion.
Deep-from-the-woods juniper whispers mysteriously with roasted sweet red paprika. Creating an effect of mild wet earth and a touch of smoke…
The Recipe for Taste: the wonderful sweetness and nano-heat of black peppercorns, along with the playful grin of cherry pepper (pimento) – all kissed by the salty seaside wind. This here is truly a DIFFERENT gin, creating the ever pleasant an intrigue. Please: with a serious tonic, along with the zest of fresh lemon and just a couple of fresh jalapeño pepper “wheels”...
Gourmets Will Understand: sensational new friend to all dishes GRILL. Especially with red meat; wonderful with correctly prepared paella; sings a creative song with good, honest and serious tapas. (And THIS ONE, darlings, should be only ever revealed to the closest of the kin: with an HONEST burger (!)
As Uncle Val Would Put It Himself: “An empty stomach has no ears.”
What’s there to add… Unless: a full stomach has a big heart?

The slightly smashing discovery of taste:
A DIFFERENT kind of cocktail: “BLOODY VALERY”
Essentially, it is all like with the good ol’ “b.l.d.d.y. m.r.y .” (only just that tiny bit more interesting):
On ice cubes, into the shaker: shaker’į:
60 ml Uncle Val’s Peppered gin
½ slice of thin, uncompromisingly fresh wedge of lime
6-8 generous dashes of Tabasco (the “green” one – jalapeño – works best) jalapeño)
1 spoonfull of great quality Worchestershire sauce
2 dashes of excellent soy sauce (if preferred) – we rather administer
A tiny pinch of smoked paprika (powdered)
A pinch of salt
A pinch of black pepper
120 ml good tomato juice
All to be nimbly, quickly and vigorously shaken (if possible, with a smile); then strained into a high, heavy-duty glass or the beer goblet (for that matter).
Yours truly decorate it with fresh celery and some fresh coriander leaves (if preferred) – we rather administer
Mamma mia!
